Happy Birthday Banks

This sweet boy turned one this month and I was such a joy once again to get to capture all the fun a "birthday" session holds. He swooped in for that "money" shot and went face first into the cake! This is the shot almost ALL moms want, but just gonna be honest with you. It is rare, as all babies have the habit of, they do what they want and not what we want most of the time.
Im just like moms though and love a good face plant in the cake!
We started out though at a very familiar location in Murfreesboro, TN. Cannonsburg village always offers that nice rustic charm that I am looking for.
I grabbed about 20 images there then we headed back to the studio for the cake smash.
And after the smash he was good and messy!
So, we ended the session with a splash!
